4 Christmas Day Outfits

From cosy to glam, to somewhere in between, these are the Christmas Day outfits I’ve got my eye on.

Christmas Day isn’t going to be a normal Christmas for a LOT of people but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be grateful to spend it with the ones we can. Whether you fancy heading to the living room feeling and looking a little bit extra or you’re after ultra cosy, thankfully I have a few options that will be sure to help you feel festive.

2020 is the year of comfortable sequins; who would have thought. If you think you want to go all out for the living room then this 3 piece set from River Island is the one for you. With guaranteed head to toe shine, you’ll be sure to give the Christmas tree a run for its money. The top came more cropped than I was expecting and would definitely say it is more of a bra-let. The over-sized shirt helps to balance it out though and provides some extra coverage. Worn off the shoulder, tucked in or tied in a knot, the ways are endless.

So you want to feel glam on Christmas Day but you don’t want to over do it? This is the option for you! First of all it’s a one piece wonder which is my favourite thing about a jumper dress. Throw it on and you’re instantly ready! There’s something special about this one though, it looks like a jumper and skirt combo which dresses the sequins down and you instantly have your somewhere in between casual glam Christmas Day outfit. Comfort on top, party on the bottom, it’s a lesson to live by. The fit is reasonably oversized so I would recommend to size down if you think this is something you’re going to go with. I’ve paired it with studded mules but come Christmas Day, my slippers will be front and centre.

A Christmas jumper you’ll wear all year round, it’s called festive chic! I am obsessed with anything with pearl detail on and this is no exception. I don’t think I have ever see a jumper with so many on! The attention detail is beautiful and it’s still bringing the cosy factor to your Christmas Day look. Pair with jeans for approximately 2-3 hours and then come Christmas dinner time, joggers/pj bottoms will be required.

This year we saw cardigans make their comeback and what a comeback it was! They were back on the high street with force so it doesn’t feel right to not include one in this round up. I’m a huge fan of winter whites for Christmas so this feels like the perfect option. With the pearl detail and it being the softest, fluffiest combo I have ever come across, it’s a no brainer. If you are part of the cozy club, this one’s for you. Pair with a stylish but comfy pair of faux leather leggings to help you still feel put together. Comfort is key round here!
